Fire Retardant AP1080 Especially Suitable for Glass Firber Reinforced PA66/6
Product Description:
AP1080 is a new efficient halogen-free flame retardant based on organic phosphinates and nitrogen. The product is a white powder, has high phosphorus content, low water absorption, no hydrolysis, no precipitation, insoluble in water and acetone, dichloromethane, butanone, toluene and other organic solvents. The polymer containing AP1080 can expand the carbon layer in the process of combustion, which can prevent fire and flame retardation.
Application:
AP1080 is suitable for PBT and PA6. The modified materials show good physical and electrical properties, have good carbon self extinguishing, and are more cost-effective than the commonly used antimony flame retardant systems.

Recommended amount of use:
In 30% glass fiber reinforced PBT/PA6, adding 18% (by weight), it can reach UL94 V-0(0.8, 1.6mm). The difference in formula and processing may lead to the difference in the addition of the flame retardant.
Packing and storage:
25 kg /bag, using kraft bags with PE inner. Handle with care, keep airtight and dry.
